Funny Stuff and Fun Stuff

Funny stuff I've observed lately:

Licence plate that read: 00Bond7. You know this guy went to get his plates and was devastated to learn that 007Bond and Bond007 were both already taken so he settled for 00Bond7. If you were married to this guy, how hard would you have to bite your tongue to stop from laughing/crying when he pulled into the driveway with his new plates?

The voicemail I received this morning from someone in their car who left a very serious message then thought they’d hung up so they began to sing, “Cats in the Cradle” with the radio.

Commercial for Diet Dr. Pepper where the Meatloaf song “I Would Do Anything For Love” is playing in the background as the guy is picking up tampons in the store, doing yoga and other chick things because he loves her so much but he won’t share his Diet Dr. Pepper.

The guy at my Starbucks who gets bent out of shape when I order a “large” Chai instead of a “venti”.

Under the heading of "Fun Stuff", I booked my vacation to Cozumel! Come April 21st I will be listening to the lull of the waves while sipping margaritas. Hooray! Cannot wait to lounge on the beach, go snorkling, read books, build sandcastles, have drinks with little umbrellas brought to me, not check voicemail, not check email, not fight traffic, not bother with unfun work clothes, not do any household chores and just watch my skin turn golden brown for 5 days!

Between now and vacation I have a trip to Cincinnati, a trip to Florida and a trip to Chicago. At least all the travel should make the time go a bit faster. Cincinnati in March...not exactly a garden spot but I've never been and I do enjoy seeing new citites...even when it's simply to determine that I never want to go there again. But who knows, I could love Cincinnati. What? It could happen.
