Deep in the Heart of Texas

Oh dear Lord, it is so hot here in TX. I've been in Dallas roughly 3 hours and I already want to get on a plane and go back home.

Tomorrow I will spend 8 hours doing hard labor in the heat. Actually, some of it should be fun but the moving of heavy things - not so fun. Thankfully, I only have to do this about twice a year. Then I return to the sanctuary of my office with the lovely A/C and vending maching with Pop Tarts.

Tonight we're going to some restaurant on a lake where I intend to get my drink on because the only thing that will make me happy in this humidity is ice cold liquor. Perhaps after I tie one on, I'll take a picture of my hair and it's bigness because it really is something to behold.

Wasting away again in Margaritaville, huh?

You have Pop Tarts in your vending machine? Lucky

Haha, I hear you on the big hair. Did you ever see the Friends episode where Monica's hair practically explodes from frizziness?! Yeah, it's like that. :) Have fun in the heat!!

For some reason I thought Texas was more of a dry heat. I so know the fro situation caused by humidity. Especially if you have curly/frizzy hair to begin with. Grrrrrrr.

Girl, you don't KNOW what a fro is until you've seen my hair in humidity. It really should be some sort of record for most the square footage of hair. But I do empathaze! I suggest BioSilk Silk Therapy as a product to tame the beast. I have to carry one in my purse for this not-quite-rain-not-quite fog nonsense that is happening in SF right now.
