No Mere Mortal Can Resist...

They're playing "Thriller" on the radio right this very second. I might have to do the dance in my office...because I know every step of it. I still remember sitting in my aunt and uncle's living room watching the video with my cousins the first time MTV ever aired it. Vincent Price's voice scared the bee-jesus out of me. Still kind of does.

It's 66 degrees and sunny outside, the leaves are gorgeous and I'm carving pumpkins tonight.

I love fall. :)

I also know the choreography. Last year I went on a cruise (for the first time) and they had 80s night in the "disco" and I pretty much taught half the crowd the steps. I am such a geek.

Thomas - Still with the C? Really? :)
Jill - At least you know that you're not alone in your geekdom because I'm right there with you!

I still find that video mildly terrifying in its entirety.

I know the whole dance too!!! I wish I was there dancing it with you and carving pumpkins! What a fabulous evening! And oh yeah...I'll take that weather, too. It's frigid here already...it's gonna be a LOOONG winter!

Haha! It's like Jennifer Garner in that movie! I am so jealous of your weather right now, though we're supposed to warm up a bit. I wish I could carve a pumpkin with ya.

When I was little I walked into the house just as the laugh was coming on at the end. I was 4. It totally freaked me out.

Jill, Rico & Marissa - if they ever remake the video we are all trying out to be the undead dancers in the background.
Thomas - Yes, the rest was nice but the C is killin me. :)

I'm happy to hear that I wasn't the only one who was terrified of this video.

I used to get so creeped out from that video but could never Not watch it.

Kiki - I was the exact same way! I would clasp my hands over my face and peak through my fingers. The park in the graveyard freaked me out the most...you know, the part where the dead guy came out of the ground? Yeah, that freaked me out in a bad way.

T - it's a deal.

OH MY GOD, YESTERDAY IN MY DANCE CLASS THE INSTRUCTOR RECREATED THE VIDEO CHOREOGRAPHY AND TAUGHT IT TO US! (i wrote that in all caps because i was shouting that comment with enthusiasm!!!) suffice it to say, there was a lot of twitching, evil hands (as opposed to jazz hands) flopping, crotch grabbing, etc. as i am sure you know, being a skilled triller dancer yourself. ah, love it! i remember the first time i saw that video. i must have been like 5 or something. it might be my earliest childhood memory. haha
