Summer Lovin' - Part Two

So all of that reminiscing the other day got me thinking about what I love about summer these days…

1) Concerts at Red Rocks
2) Road trips with my friends
3) Mojitos at Lola
4) JCrew flip flops
5) Golfing with co-workers
6) My birthday (I’ve always loved my b-day and have no idea why that wasn’t on the last list.)
7) Taking Barley for walks at 9pm and it’s still light out
8) Margaritas on the roof of the Morrison Inn
9) The French manis and pedis I can sometimes talk Amber into giving me
10) Rockie Dogs and Coors Light at Coors Field
11) Runs in Wash Park
12) Bike rides in Waterton Canyon
13) Hikes at Matthews/Winters Park
14) Getting veggies at the Farmers Market
15) Sunday brunch on the patio at Sullivan’s
16) Sleeping with the windows open and the ceiling fan on high
17) Iced vanilla latte from Starbucks
18) Horseshoes with my dad and grandpa at the cabin
19) Outdoors movies in Cherry Creek North
20) Rooftop bars in LoDo
21) Camping trips with my friends (…and Camp Counselor Tim!)
22) New strappy sandals
23) Luigi’s Lemon Italian Ice
24) Driving to Dinosaur Ridge late at night with all the windows open and looking at the city lights
25) Summer cotton dresses
26) My summer sleepware: Capri drawstring pants and a wifebeater (for the record, I hate that word but damn, I love the clothing!)
27) Panzenella bread salads
28) Tantalizing tan lines
29) Hempz lotion (just smells like summer)
30) My green Red Sox hat and Hiawatha braids at Home Depot on a Saturday morning
31) Family bbq’s – my generation is now hosting them which is fun since it always used to be our parents
32) Warm weather morning runs
33) Ski lift rides up Copper Mountain and lunch outside on the top of the hill
34) Shirtless eye-candy on the outdoor basketball courts
35) Sunday afternoon trips to the Chatfield dog park with Barley.

Ah yes, good stuff all around.

1. Can you believe I never went to a Red Rocks concert in my 18 years of living there!? What's my deal?

3. Where's Lola? Next time I come home for Christmas, I'm totally getting a mojito there!
