Kendra, you ask, how cold is "cold as balls"?
Well it's currently about 4 degrees and the moment we stepped outside the snot in my nose froze up instantly. And that my friends, is cold as balls.
I am usually warm when I sleep so no matter what time of year, I'm always in pj pants and a wifebeater. Not last night. Last night I wore my flannel jammies and I also did the unthinkable - I slept in socks. Anyone who knows me knows that I would rather make out with a rusty fish hook than sleep in socks; it feels like my feet are suffocating. But I had already put another blanket on my bed and I was still cold so I had to put some socks on my feet. Again, another sign that it is, in fact, cold as balls here.
I'm currently drinking a big mug of coffee and there's some banana bread in the oven. Because you know what's better than coffee and warm banana bread on a cold day?
Nothing, that's what.
Ok, so perhaps having Josh rub my cold feet while sipping the coffee and munching the banana bread would be better...

Funny...suddenly I'm much warmer. (And Christi, I know you're enjoying this photo!)

Haha! Kendra--do you often make out with rusty fish hooks?! That line cracked me up! It's getting cold her too, but not quite 'cold as balls.' I do believe we're on our way though!
pinche winter
It's a good thing you put this photo at the end or else I might not have been able to concentrate on the words.
