More Caddyshack Jokes Than You Can Shake a Golf Club At

My cousin, Bradley, is the Director of Fundraising for my Uncle Brad's foundation so Saturday morning found me at Arrowhead for the first annual golf tournament. Friday was the one year anniversary of my uncle's passing so it was really nice to be with family and friends.

Bradley and I were on a foursome with Mike and Rosie and I can't say any of us played our best day of golf but we had a great time. We cheered the good shots and lamented the bad ones in a manner more appropriate for ringside seats at an Ulitimate Fight Championship than at a swanky golf course. Mike and Rosie played pretty well but Bradley and I lost more balls than I care to admit. (Had I brought my scuba gear, I could have saved a few of my own.)

When we weren't playing some awesome golf, we were taking pictures of ourselves as I'm sure all the pros do.

The wildlife got all up in my grill.

I don't remember which hole this was...but isn't it lovely?

I can almost guarantee that Bradley was quoting "Happy Gilmore" at this point.

Saturday would have been my uncle's 65th birthday. As Bradley and I drove the cart to the 13th hole - the signature hole at Arrowhead- we both wished him a happy birthday. I think he would approve of the way we celebrated.

I'm positive he did approve. I would have been with you, hooting and hollering and having fun, who cares if it's swanky? It does look gorgeous...

Yeah. What a purty course. Maybe I need to bring my sticks next time I go to CO.
